Remembrance Day
Our wonderful poppy display in our main corridor was created by many of our children from across the school with expert help from our art department. Approximately 40 children enjoyed attending their intervention groups and having the opportunity to create poppies to mark the 100 years since the end of WW1. We used many different types of materials to create our beautiful display including dyed coffee filters, blotting paper, felt and buttons. We will be creating our outdoor display of poppies for the front entrance from today.
Our next school community project will be to create stars from different materials for our Christmas display in the school hall.
