National Final for Year 7/8 Girls!
We are delighted that our Year 7 and 8 girls' football team have qualified for the national finals of the FA Small Schools Football Cup. This is the first time a girls' football team from the school has progressed to the finals. As a school, we are very proud of their achievement.
The girls won their semi-final match against Dunnobar school from Riegate in a home match at St. Michael's with an emphatic 8-1 win. We are awaiting news of which school has won the other semi-final and expect the final to take place in a stadium in the Birmingham area sometime around the last week of May.
