Following a very generous donation from the Talbot Village Trust, we are delighted to have three new
music pods at St. Michael’s CE Middle School. These new pods come fully equipped with new music
equipment such as pianos, keyboards, drum kits and electric guitars and will give our pupils space to
rehearse in small groups.
We held a dedicated opening event for these new pods on Wednesday 24th May 
It was a glorious sunny evening and guests heard performances from a selection of pupils who are busy preparing for our annual music concert in early July.
The choir sang, and an ex pupil entertained us with his singing and guitar playing
There was also an opening of the wildlife pond area to the side of these pods that has been created by
members of the school community over the last 5 years.
