On the way to the ferry terminal, pupils stopped off to visit the amour Pegasus Bridge memorial. This bridge was one of the most important parts of the D-Day landing plans, and the story of its capture is amazing. Following the visit, the pupils headed to the ferry terminal and are now on their way home.

Update: The coach has just left the Portsmouth Ferry Terminal at 10.07pm. They are due back around 11.30pm as expected.
