Harvest Festival

Just before the half-term break, we came together in collective worship to celebrate our annual Harvest Festival. We were joined for our collective worship by Vicar Suzanne from St. Michael's Church who led the service and prayers.
The service focused on the school value of resilience, and we looked at the story of the sycamore gap tree and how, despite being felled, new trees have been grown from the tree and have been sent to different places around the country. Out of something really upsetting and sad for so many comes the hope of new life.
We were also, once again, so thankful to the wider school community for their generous donations of food to help support Wimborne Food Bank. As in previous years, we had more than one item from every member of staff and pupil and this will go to make such a big difference to vulnerable members of our local community.
