Books and Stories Graduation Day

A group of our pupils who have been taking part in the Books and Stories programme recently attended their graduation event at Bournemouth University.

All our pupils enjoyed hearing Ali Sparks, the author, talk with great humour about her journey to becoming a writer. Everyone engaged with the writing workshop and enjoyed a tasty lunch of pizza and chips! We had a short tour of the campus by one of the students and even received a goody bag! The pupils looked fantastic in their graduation gowns and caps. A huge thank you to Mrs. Prest and Mrs. Turner for organising the event. They hope that this experience will encourage them to read as often as possible.
