The sporting season at St Michael's is well and truly underway

 Football, Rugby and Netball have been the main sports so far this term with many highlights: 

The Year 8 boys Football team got to the 3rd round of the national cup and are still in the county cup. 

The Year 8 girls Football team made it to the last 32 of the national cup and are still in the county cup.

 The Year 7 girls Football team are in the 4th round of the national cup and are still in the county cup.

 The Year 6 boys Footballers were crowned East Dorset Winners and were unlucky at the County finals 

 The Year 6 girls were crowned Easy Dorset Winners and also County Champions. They now progress onto the regional round in Bristol.

Many Year 5 boys and girls have had the chance to represent the school at football and netball

 Year 7 & 8 boys and girls have been involved in various rugby festivals around the county

 Netball season officially starts after Christmas but it has been great to see some friendlies and mini festivals going already.

 Extracurricular clubs
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday there are over 250 pupils attending various extracurricular sports and physical activity clubs. We are also delighted to offer new clubs this year, such as parkour, handball, water polo and health and fitness.
